Kris is from Detroit, Michigan and began working with CAPS in June of 2018. In addition to his educational accomplishments, Kris became a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Delta Kappa Chapter in the Fall of 2008, became a member of the Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society, Delta Beta Sigma Chapter in 2016, and competed as an MSU varsity track & field athlete from 2007 to 2009.

Kris is a published author of two works of poetry: “The Embryo of My Manhood: Second Edition (2016)” and “Are You Ready to Love Yourself a Black Man (2019)”.
