Erica is from Grand Ledge, Michigan, joining the MSU CAPS Masters level internship program in July 2019. Erica grew up in the Mid-Michigan area, going to MSU sporting events and attending the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA) camp at MSU while in High School. She studied abroad in Poland during undergrad, is a member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA): Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education, and is a National Counseling Honors Fraternity Member with Chi Sigma Iota., Additionally, Erica has completed over 200 hours of training in the areas of Sexual Assault, Sexual Harassment and  Domestic/Intimate Partner Violence as an Advocate for Sexual Aggression Peer Advocates (SAPA) at Central Michigan University (CMU) and as a volunteer at the YWCA of Kalamazoo.
