Jennifer Grzegorek, PhD, LP

Jennifer was born in Lansing, Michigan while her Dad was finishing his doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Michigan State University. When she was only a few months old, her family moved to Stow, Ohio (near Akron), where she spent her youth and where her parents still live. She joined the Counseling Center staff at MSU in October of 2004. Over the past several years, Jen has been diligently working on checking off all the items on her bucket list, many of which involve travel. Currently, she is working on the goal of becoming fluent in another language and has been teaching herself French. Jen enjoys presenting on sleep and sleep hygiene concern topics to people and groups across campus.

 Professional Interests include:

  • LGBTQ Concerns (including concerns around gender identity, non-binary identities, and gender transition)
  • Sleep and Sleep Hygiene Concerns
  • Working with a wide variety of clinical concerns such as relationship concerns, childhood trauma and abuse, graduate students & navigating graduate school, and identity development.
