UWill Telemental Health Pilot Program

Recently, we announced a pilot partnership with a leading teletherapy platform, UWill.

A student on their laptop sits on a wooden bench under a tree on a sunny dayUWill serves as an extension of the care provided through the Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) department, allowing us to expand our service capacity for students who could benefit from short-term virtual counseling or messaging capabilities. The partnership provides students with free video, phone, chat and message sessions with licensed mental health professionals free of charge.

Because teletherapy may not be appropriate for all presenting concerns, students must complete a consultation with CAPS to determine if UWill is a good fit for them. Following the consultation, the CAPS team member may refer the student to UWill based on their needs and receptiveness to teletherapy.

UWill is a National Association of Student Personnel Administrators Educational Partner.
