Qualifications
Post internship Clinical Fellows
- Must have completed an APA-accredited doctoral internship in professional psychology by start date.
- Must be currently enrolled in an APA-accredited doctoral program in counseling or clinical psychology and have ABD status.
- To aid in protecting privacy and minimizing potential conflict of interest for those who train at CAPS, applicants to our training program must not have received clinical services from MSU CAPS within 3 years from date of application. Triage/initial consultations and referral coordination appointments will not considered clinical services affecting eligibility.
Post-doctoral Resident
- Must have graduated with a doctoral degree in professional psychology from an APA-accredited program and must be license eligible in the state of MI.
Benefits
- A stipend of $45,000
- 22 sick/vacation days (5 of which must be used at the end of training) plus university holidays
- If a post-doctoral resident, we will pay the cost to become licensed in the state of MI.
- 2 hrs per week to work on dissertation or study for EPPP
- We anticipate that professional development funds and professional development time may be offered
